Tired of getting billed for something I don't owe

I have called numerous times I have talked to the patient advocate people. They told me that this issue was resolved that I did not owe that money but there seems to be a huge disconnect between billing and that issue being resolved because Im tired of getting these bills and throwing them in the trash, please resolve this issue.

Having owned a home care business it is sometimes very frustrating for the person paying bills because the times of bills don't match up. Plus the billing many times gets crossed.

The other thing don't deal with patient advocate. They are not in billing. I'm so sorry for you to even go though this.., if it were my business it would have already been taken care of. If I can make a suggestion....

call the company...ask to speak to account supervisor.

Start there ....if you get no satisfaction to resolve your billing problem then go straight to the CEO. I hope this helps.

CAN'T GET THEM TO SEND CPAP SUPPLIES

Let me add to the many other terrible reviews of this company. Most horrible customer experience ever. My doctor sent them a prescription for new CPAP supplies in November 2023. Many phone calls to doctor and AHP and I still have not received my supplies. Now they are telling me that I have to drive to the office in San Antonio and give them my signature, which they already have.

They refuse to fill my prescription even after contacted by my doctor and me multiple times. The first time they said my doctor didnt provide enough information. The second time they said that I had to drive over an hour to provide a signature which was never required before

Want to give thanks to your tech Gilbert, who came to the house today to replace some tanks, my husband explained to him he was having issues getting flow through the tubing. He found the problem and resolved the issue, my husband was so very happy that he was able to fix the problem, he is now getting the oxygen flow that he needs, and feels so much better. He went above and beyond his duty to just replace the tanks, and we feel truly blessed. Thank you Gilbert. Happy

Substandard service, poor support, customer no service, over charging, high costs, and over billing both me as well as my insurance provider. I would not recommend this organization. Buyer beware...

Ask for a price this in advance and compare with other service companies. Be sure you get everything up front to eliminate any disputes. Be sure if your experience is substandard speak out.

My oxygen machine that's in my home and my etank's refills for when I have to go out of my home and the doctor, visit my mom at the nursing home and the grocery shopping and my bills at the first of the month!I have lots of doctors appointments every month and I have to my oxygen tanks to be able breath!

A representative from my insurance company and I called to fin out why my account was canceled. Upon trying to do so we were transfered several time to different departments before we were able to talk to someone. After explaining what was going on "Sharlean" reinstated the account. The representative "Tom" asked her to send me the container for the heated water. Well, instead I rceived a face mask with no support strap and no water device. Now I'm very unhappy.

My sleep doctor needs to change the machine I need and has tried for days to reach American Home Patient but has been unable to reach them.

The local office in Nacogdoches with not replace my mom wheelchair that is still under warranty. The brace under the seat broke causing her to fall to the ground. I have tried to talk to corporate but I have been disconnected twice. I will be call the Texas Attorney General office on this matter. A business taking advantage of a 87 year old woman.

Americian home patient should be held accountable to service products they sell.

I had purchased a cpap machine from American home patient and everything was great and fine until the machine was on recall. I called American home patient and was instructed that I should call the manufacturer and that there was nothing that they could do for me. I explained to them that the manufacturer instruction where to immediately discontinue using the cpap. I need the cpap machine to breathe at night so that is not going to work for me. I asked American home patient if I could purchase a new Cpap machine which I would pay for since I just got the recalled machine from them within the past 6 months. American home patient decided that they would not sell me a cpap machine and refused to. Because I had a recalled cpap machine they refused to sell me a new one. They told me that I could not buy one from them all their cpap machines were for new insurance customers. I guess because I have a recalled cpap machine I could no longer buy a cpap machines from this company. I was willing to pay full price for the machine but they refused to sell it to. How they can discriminate between who is allowed to purchase medical equipment from them and who is not. My money is just as good as anyone else's. Why has American Home Patient decided to no longer sell me this life saving medicial device which I need? What makes me different then everyone else who is allow to buy medicial devices from them. following up I called again got the manager this time and she went on to compare the cpap tjat I purchased from Americian Bome patient to a used car on recall and told me to take it to Ford not the use car dealership. I am confused is she trying to tell me I was given a used cpap machine and I should then take it to Ford? It it to Ford?

Not supplying compliance reports when billing

I bought a cpap machine 2 years ago and initially everything was approved and paid for through the insurance correctly. However when supplies where being ordered American was supposed to supply a compliance report so they could get paid from insurance correctly but they never did so insurance kept denying the claims. Also American was billing me prior to billing the insurance company and I was told that they are not supposed to be billing me until after insurance. This has been going on for 2 years now and Ive called them several times each year to get resolved but they still havent been willing to send the compliance reports. They also claimed my modem was never initially set up correctly so they could not download reports. At what point will someone realize that the modem isnt working and they cannot get paid until they send a simple compliance report.
